Press Release: Announcement Ceremony of the FTA Index 2025
On the afternoon of August 18, 2026, at the International Convention Center (11 Le Hong Phong, Ha Noi), the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a ceremony to announce the 2025 Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Implementation Index. The event was attended by leaders from various ministries, agencies, and localities; representatives of industry associations and businesses; ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic missions and international organizations in Viet Nam; and representatives from news agencies and media outlets. Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc attended and delivered a keynote address.

Vietnam’s Seafood Exports Expand Footprint Across CPTPP Markets
Despite a volatile global landscape marked by technical barriers, intensifying competition, and rising input costs, Vietnam’s seafood exports to CPTPP member states have demonstrated remarkable resilience. In the first 11 months of 2025, export turnover to this bloc grew by 7.23% year-on-year, reaching USD 2.78 billion. This figure represents 26.98% of Vietnam’s total seafood export value, underscoring the strategic importance of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).
